Today, Kathy Kraninger was confirmed to serve as Director of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection. Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03), Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit, issued the following statement:

“Under Acting Director Mulvaney’s guidance, the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection has become a vastly more accountable agency.
