Luetkemeyer Maintains Commitment to the Unborn, Votes to End Taxpayer Dollars for Abortions

Keeping his commitment to protect the unborn, U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) voted in support of the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act.

Keeping his commitment to protect the unborn, U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) voted in support of the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act.

The No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act would prohibit federal taxpayer dollars from being used to support abortions. In addition, it makes the Hyde Amendment and other current abortion funding prohibitions permanent and government wide. Luetkemeyer is an original co-sponsor of this legislation and has supported it in previous Congresses.

“Today’s vote comes at a time just before thousands of Missourians, and Americans, make their way to Washington to advocate for the rights of the unborn,” Luetkemeyer said. “I am proud to be a voice for the unborn and I will continue to do everything in my power to protect their rights. All life, including the unborn, should be treated with both dignity and respect.”
