U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) issued the following statement following the release of the global climate agreement in Paris:

“After reviewing the details of the climate agreement that was reached over the weekend in Paris, it is clear that the Administration decided to put posturing and wishful thinking ahead of our nation’s economy. Not only will this climate agreement raise energy prices on American families, it is based on the president’s climate plan that doesn’t even have the support of the American people and will likely be proven illegal in court. This agreement is just one more example of how out of touch the Administration is with the priorities of the country. I will continue to push my legislation in Congress which would prevent taxpayers dollars from being used to fund the United Nations International Panel on Climate Change, Framework Convention on Climate Change, and the Green Climate Fund so that American taxpayers are not footing the bill for an unelected organization that is tasked with advancing the UN’s global warming agenda.”
