U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) today announced the date and location for his fifth Veterans Benefits Workshop, which is organized to provide assistance to 3rd district constituents who have served our nation. Luetkemeyer and staff will lead a discussion and assist veterans from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, in O’Fallon, Missouri, at 100 North Main Street. Signs will be posted outside the venue directing visitors where to go. “The least we can do in recognition of the service and sacrifice of our veterans is to make sure they are receiving the benefits and assistance they deserve,” Luetkemeyer said. “Whether one might have a question about benefits or are looking for job opportunities, this workshop provides the necessary information needed to receive the service they deserve from the VA.” The workshop provides free advice and guidance for those who need assistance filing veterans claims applications, completing necessary documents, as well as understanding how the VA processes claims. The workshop will include representatives from the following agencies and organizations: St. Louis VA Medical Center; St. Louis Regional Benefits Office; Missouri Veterans Commission; American Legion; Missouri Bar Association; AMVETS; and the Missouri Department of Economic Development, which will focus on employment opportunities. |
