In response to the administration’s continued efforts to delay parts of its flawed health-care law and put more taxpayer dollars at risk, U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-3) today voted in support of the No Subsidies Without Verification Act that would prohibit any federal subsidies for Obamacare’s health insurance exchanges from being provided until there is a system in place that verifies recipients’ eligibility.

“The president and the administration are desperately trying to salvage this disastrous health-care law but the fact of the matter is it is falling apart on its own,” Luetkemeyer said. “Despite this delay in implementing their own flawed plan, this bill will hold the administration accountable for determining eligibility for this new entitlement program while preventing the federal government from handing out billions of dollars in fraudulent payments.” Luetkemeyer has voted 40 times to defund, dismantle or completely do away with the president’s health-care law. |
