Reps. Luetkemeyer and Yoder Demand Answers from ICE Officials on Kansas City and Missouri Murders

Representatives Kevin Yoder (R-KS) and Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) sent a letter to United States Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson demanding answers about the failures of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials to detain and deport Pablo Serrano-Vitorino, who allegedly killed four people in Kansas City, Kansas and one person in Montgomery County, Missouri in March. Serrano-Vitorino was previously deported but had subsequently re-entered the United States and had multiple encounters with law enforcement before his arrest.

Luetkemeyer Disappointed by Supreme Court Ruling on Arizona Immigration Law

U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) today issued a statement regarding the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on an Arizona law giving the state authority to protect citizens from crime and lawlessness linked to the national government’s failed immigration policies. Earlier this year, Luetkemeyer and more than 50 members of Congress signed onto a brief filed with the Supreme Court in support of the Arizona law.
