Service Academy Nomination

"The U.S. Military Service Academies provide an opportunity for students to receive an incredible education while serving our nation. This is one of the most important traditions students across America are able to participate in and it’s my honor as the Representative of Missouri’s Third District to give qualified students these nominations,” said Congressman Luetkemeyer.

The U.S. Military Service Academy acceptance process includes a formal application and interview to a panel of community volunteers from the district that have been selected by Congressman Luetkemeyer. The submission deadline for all applications is October 2, 2023.

Each applicant must:

1.       be a U.S. Citizen

2.       be at least 17 years old and not yet 23 years old on July 1 of the year applicant would enter academy (25 years old for USMMA)

3.       be unmarried, not pregnant, and without legal obligation to support children or other dependents

4.       reside within the boundaries of the Third Congressional District of Missouri

5.       take the ACT or SAT exam

6.       meet the medical, physical and academic requirements of the academy
