Luetkemeyer Statement on Missouri’s Reopening

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) released the following statement regarding Governor Mike Parson’s announcement that Missouri will fully reopen for business on Tuesday, June 16.

“Governor Parson is absolutely right to reopen Missouri. Over the last couple of months, our state has increased testing capabilities, PPE equipment and hospital capacities and as a result, has exceeded recovery expectations. While we should, of course, remain vigilant about our health and especially the health of Missourians who are at-risk, able employees will now be able to earn a regular paycheck and business owners will be able to operate as usual. I look forward to our great state reopening for business, getting our economy going again, and hardworking Missourians having the ability to once again support their families.”
