Today, U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) sent a letter, with the support of the entire Missouri delegation, to President Trump urging that he approve Governor Eric Greitens’ request for a major disaster declaration after the State suffered severe flooding earlier this year.

“We write asking that you approve Governor Eric Greitens’ request for a major disaster declaration for the State of Missouri. The Governor’s request is a result of a series of three severe storms that generated tornadoes, straight-line winds, heavy rain, hail, flooding, and flash flooding that caused significant damages during the period of April 28, 2017 to May 11, 2017,” Luetkemeyer and the delegation wrote in the letter to the president.

The counties in the 3rd District for which Governor Greitens requested Public Assistance are:  Camden, Cole, Franklin, Gasconade, Jefferson, Maries, Miller and Osage. Individual Assistance has been requested for: Franklin, Gasconade, Jefferson, Maries, and Osage. The Governor has also requested Small Business Administration disaster loans for: Franklin, Gasconade, Jefferson, Maries, and Osage.
