Luetkemeyer Calls for Immediate Review of Floodplain Maps

Today Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) sent a letter to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator William B. Long, urging him to promptly correct any potential floodplain map errors affecting Lake of the Ozarks residents. An advocate for sensible reform to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) for nearly a decade, Congressman Luetkemeyer released the following statement:

“It’s essential that we immediately correct any problems. My constituents at the Lake of the Ozarks deserve peace of mind in knowing they can trust the accuracy of FEMA’s floodplain maps.”
