U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) issued the following statement after the FBI announced that it had reopened the investigation into Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails in light of new information.

“Today’s news is a direct result of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s reckless behavior regarding the handling of classified material,” Luetkemeyer said. “At the very least, the Director of National Intelligence needs to suspend all classified briefings to Secretary Clinton until we have more information from the FBI regarding the scope of its investigation and to ensure that all Americans have the full and accurate story of Secretary Clinton’s actions when she was at the helm of our country’s foreign policy. The American people deserve answers, and I commend the FBI for reopening this critical investigation.”
